Hi, This is Sophie Luo from China Highlights. Yes. these two places are quite far away from each other. Four Points by Sheraton Hotel is in the northwestern part of Beijing while the Hard Rock Cafe is in the eastern part. The distance between these two places is about 20Km. If you take a taxi, the taxi fee would be about 60CNY. If you drive by yourself, here is the way: Yuanda Road(远大路)--(2Km)--Changchun Bridge Road(长春桥路)--(1.5Km)--North 3rd Round Road(北三环)--(15Km)--East 3rd Round north road(东三环北路)--(0.5Km)--Agriculture Exhibition Centre Bridge(农展桥)--(0.5Km)--Hard Rock Cafe(硬石咖啡). If you are confused with the directions, you can ask local people for help by giving them those Chinese names of the route. I have already marked them for you. Thank you for choosing China Highlights. If you need any help with your China tour, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We will do our best to serve you. Have a nice day!

We are staying in Beijing but wish to visit Xian. Should we get a flight ? and which is a hotel near to the warriors? Hi Karen, There are many flights availble every 1,2 hours from 1200 to 2100. It costs about CNY 1200 (USD 182) per person. Trains from Beijing to Xi'an are also a option. A soft sleeper on overnight train costs CNY 417 (USD 63). Usually we suggest travellers to stay at hotels in the center of Xi'an because the condition and transport would be better. You could find nice hotels in our website http://www.chinahighlights.com/hotel/xian-hotels/ We also have PRIVATE or Gourp day trip to the terra cotta warriors. Please feel free to contact me if you are interested. My Email: Kevinma@chinahighlights.com Have a nice day. Kevin Ma

In mid-August, it will become cooler and more computable by entering autumn. The temperature is from 20℃ to 30℃. So if you are traveling in Beijing, you still need to bring some sunscreen, enough water, a hat and an umbrella. Hello Eileen, The lowest temperature in Beijing is 15F in January, 19F in February and 30 in March. The weather is dry, windy and with occasional snow. Downjackets, gloves and hats needed. There is heating indoor, so wearing layers would be convenient for taking on and off.
