My family and I will be visiting the Giant Panda Research Base in June 2015. My daughter is adopted from China. Will she get a discount on holding a baby panda?

Nora Ou (Jul. 26, 2014) replied:
Clients could hold panda for photos for about 1 minute. The cost is about CNY2000 per person. You need to book at least 1 day in advance. It's a donation to the pandas, so there is no discount to all the people.

Dear Marie-Carmen Infantes, I get some information from our local agency. This festival will be held by local people from Jul. 27 to Aug. 10. As this festival is not arranged by government, we don't know its exact date and the scale of the activity is not as large as before.

1 Answer

Having travelled on train all over the world - including the trains-Siberian train from Beijing to Moscow - I would like to do the ultimate rail journey : to Tibet. However, I am an Indian - and also a government official (A liquor tax official in a provincial government) Given the political issues and restrictions involved, will it be possible for you to arrange an independent trip for me sometime next summer? I am flexible about the itinerary and would be willing to go with whatever you feel would be most convenient.
