Hi Ginger, the Bifeng Gorge Panda Sanctuary is better, also further from downtown Chengdu.

Hi, we plan to travel to Shangri-La in this June 2013, but we will take a train from Beijing to Chengdu. It would be possible to take a bus from Chengdu to Shangri-La. We plan to travel from the Chengdu-Shangri-La-Dali-Lijiang-Kunming and back to Bangkok. Could you please give some advice.

Is It necessary to book bus ticket in advance, Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou and Chengdu to Hailougou in march? I read Jiuzhaigou March is still low season. What about Hailougou? Is march high or low season?

Yes, March is still the low seaon for tour, but it is suggested that you buy the bus tickets 1 or 2 days before.
