Hi David, there is no metro from the airport to the hotel. The Holiday Inn Express Jinxiucheng is not near the metro.

I am flying from Guangzhou to Chongqing. which airport will it be in Chongqing? Is the Holiday Inn Express in Jinxiucheng nearby. Is there a map I can see this?I may want to book hotel room (with one big bed) for 3 nights

Oh, sorry, I find it now. from the Jiangbei International Airport(CKG) to the Holiday Inn Express in JinxiuchengIt is about 25km, 40min, CNY50-60 by taxi. There is no metro from the airport to the hotel.

Hi, my wife and me will arrive Chengdu on 22nd Dec 2012 for 10 days, we leave on 31st Dec 2012. We also plan to fly to Chonqing. Given that 10 days break, we plan to spend 6 days in Chengdu and 4 days in Chongqing. We prefer free and easy trip but suggestions are welcome. What are the possible itinerary for both cities and recommended hotel/places to stay? Our hotel budget is betwen 200 to 300rmb per night. What is the temperature like in end December? Is it right time to visit Emei Mountain? Your responds are welcome with thanks in advance.

Yes, there are two ships available on December 10 from Yichang to Chongqing, CH Victoria and Century Emerald. I recommend Century Emerald because it is newer (the year 1994 VS 2010) and bigger (standard cabin 14.4 sq. m. VS 25), it is more comfortable, the staff are more friendly and well trained, the food are more tasty with more varieties. The cost difference is only US$40, it should be easy to decide the ship to take. By now you should have received the quoted itinerary from me, if you have any queries on it, just feel free to let me know.

You could visit Jiuzhaigou at first, then go to Chongqing to take Yangtze river cruise, then arrive in Yichang. At last, go to Changsha or Guangzhou.Between Changsha and Jiuzhaigou, i suggest you stop over in Chengdu.
