i m planning a trip to guangzhou in nov this year and would like to know the weather during that time.
Hi LK,Weather in November is pleasant, sunny and relatively cooler. Sometimes it rains, so an umbrella is needed. Average low and high temperature is respectively at 16 °C (60 °F) and 24 °C (75 °F). Long-sleeve shirts are suitable during the day when it is warmer, but at early morning and evening a sweater or a jacket is needed.

Topic From: The Ancient Tea-horse Road
My husband and I are interested in a independent tour that follows the Tea-Horse Road. We are flexible to travel by train/car/air/water and have from 3-4 weeks to do the trip in mid-Oct to end of November 2013 - we can also travel in December. We would like to have a guide for the entire trip who speaks good english. We are flexible with where we enter and depart from China eg arrive in Beijing and depart from Hong Kong or Guangzhou. We are Ok to stay in hotels, guesthouses, village stays etc. I am Australian (52) and my husband (57) is an American and we will be departing from Australia to China. We are reasonably fit and active and we like getting off the ''tourist'' track. My husband is an avid photographer and I am interested in art, weavings and any cultural event or activity. We are open minded to suggestions and recommendations.
Hi Susan, I would like to introduce Beijing, Datong, Pingyao, Xian, Tibet, Chengdu, Jiuzhaigou, Zhangjiajie, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Guilin, Yangshuo to you.
Beijing, Datong, Pingyao, Xian are mainly for culture. Tibet is a special area in China. The culture and people are quite different from other areas. Most visitors wish to visit there.
Chengdu, Jiuzhaigou, Zhangjiajie, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Guilin, Yangshuo are mainly for natural scenery. Jiuzhaigou is amazingly beautiful even though it is quite expensive.
Each place has its specialty and worth visiting. I hope you like it. Your husband will take good photos with them.
If you have any ideas, please feel free to let me know.
Nice day, Whitney
