There is only one train every day from Guilin to Chengdu. The train no. is K651/K654. It takes about 26 hours and it costs about CNY510/US$82 for the soft sleeper.

I am a Chinese Canadian and plan to visit Guilin. What is the temperature range for November 1-10 as my wife and I plan to visit Guilin and its surroundings for 5-6 days?
Hi Edwin, it is cool in November. The average low and high temperature is respectively 15 °C and 20 °C. A long sleeve shirt/sweater and a coat would be okay.

It is about 2100 km between Beijing and Guilin, it is tired to take a train and it takes about 23 hours at least, the costs is about US$106 for the soft sleeper. I suggest you take a flight, it takes about 3 hours and you could choose a good one on our website.

Booked a trip to Guilin on 21/03/13. Is it ok in terms of weather? Heard few travel to Guilin in March. What clothing to bring? Any photos? Good chance of watching the "impression" show? Concern for rain. Traveling with husband and 3 teenage daughters. Any advise? Thanks

It is about 10-17℃（50-62.6℉） during the end of March, it will become warm. Sometimes it will rain, but not heavily. You could wear some thick coats. It is suitable for travel. You could see the show in Yangshuo at night.
In Guilin, besides visiting attractions, Yangshuo Chinese Painting or Calligraphy Learning, Tai Chi Experience in Yangshuo, or Yangshuo Chinese Cookery Class are interesting activies.

hi I''m coming to Guiyang the 11th february. I''d like to go to guilin the next day, will it be possible to buy a train ticket there for the next day because of the chinese new year ? If not, is it possible to buy a Guiyang Guilin bus ticket ?Thank you

There is only one train from Guiyang to Guilin every day, it is very difficult to buy the train ticket, especially during Spring Festival Holiday. I suggest you take a bus or a flight to get to Guilin.

Hi Wawatea, the bus from Guilin Bus Station to Guangzhou departs at 17:30 17:50 18:00. From Guangzhou back to Guilin, there are many buses from each bus station in Guangzhou.

Hi Fizah, the weather is mild, with heavy humidity and occasional drizzles and sunny days. The average temperature is 12°C-18°C. A coat and a light sweater are enough to cope with the weather, but thin sweaters and long-sleeve T-shirts are suggested when it becomes warmer during the day.

Hi , We are a group of 4 adults, 2 kids(5-6 years) and an infant. We are looking to book a Li river cruise on Feb 9th from Guiln to Yangshuo.Can you advise the timings, duration and rate.
Hi Prachi,
The cost for the cruise ticket is USD324 for the group. The cruise lasts for 4 hours.
The cruise time is from 9:30AM to 1:30PM or 10AM to 2PM based on the availability.
we can only get the ticket 1 day in advance before Feb.9th. So you will need to come to our office just besides the Elephant Trunk Hill in downtown area in Guilin to get the cruise ticket.
If you need a transfer or a guide's accompany, please let us know as soon as possible. The Chinese new year holiday is from Feb.9 to Feb14. It is very hard to find a tour guide unless you arrange it now.
