Hello Patrick, I'm afraid that the art gallery does not have its website. If you visit Guangxi Normal University and Solitary Beauty Peak, your tour guide will take you there to have a look and shop.

how far from guilin to shangri-la

Mia Yang (Aug. 31, 2010) replied:
Hello Wahid, By Shangri-La, do you mean the Shangri-La theme park near Guilin, or a county named Shangri-La in Yunnan Province? If it is the one near Guilin, you can first get to Yangshuo by bus (1.5 hours), then usually travelers go to Shangri-La while biking in the countryside. If it is the one in Yunnan Province, you need to first get to Kunming City by flight or train, then from there, transfer train, flight or bus to Shangri-La. If you need tour services in China, feel free to send us an email to service@chinahighlights.com, our professional travel advisors will reply to you within 24 hours.

Hello. This tour includes flights and transportation within China, so it does not include flights from EWR. We also suggest that you book international flights by yourself in your country, because air fares are lower from the departure country.

Bruce, According to i know, MF8422 (22:20-23:55) is the only one schedule daily and seldon offers discount. If you have searched a discount airfare at www.chinahighlights.com/china-flights, please catch your time. Good luck, Karen
Mia Yang (Aug. 12, 2010) replied:
Hello Bruce, I'm afraid that there are no trains from Guilin to Fuzhou. If you want to take train, then you need to first get to Changsha or Shenzhen first, then transfer train there to Fuzhou. The 2 train ride take about 30 hours, not to mention the hassle in between, so it is not recommended. You can take flight MF8422, which is only one and a half hours. You can search and book at http://www.chinahighlights.com/china-flights/ Trains or buses cannot be booked online in China, unless you find an online agent to book for you. If you are now in Guilin, you can go to the first floor of CITS Guilin located at 11 Binjiang Road (滨江路11号桂林国旅), there is a train ticket outlet on the left when you go inside. They charge 5 yuan booking fee per ticket.

Kschoo, sorry to tell you that the direct bus from Fenghuang to Guilin does not pass Sanjiang. Maybe you can take the bus and get off at Guilin and then head another bus to Sanjiang. Hope this will help.

I a Malaysian and will be in Guilin from 1/10 - 2/10 & 11/10 - 12/10. It is national holidays from 1/10 - 7/10. Would tours and public transport be available? What is the weather like? Cool or cold?

Mia Yang (Aug. 8, 2010) replied:
Hello Selvarajah, Welcome to Guilin! Indeed the national holiday Oct 1-7 is the busy season for Guilin travel, but tours and public transportations are still available, after all, this is the golden season, isn't it? During this time, be prepared for large crowds in tourist spots. However, because of the tight demand for hotels and transportation during this period, it is suggested that you place your bookings as early as possible, to avoid any unnecessary troubles. In early October, it is turning into autumn. During the day time, it is warm and you can wear your usual summer clothes, but in early morning and evening, it will get cool, so you need to prepare long pants and long sleeves. You can see Guilin weather conditions and forecasts at http://www.chinahighlights.com/guilin/weather.htm If you need any tour services in China, feel free to send us an email to service@chinahighlights.com, our travel advisors are glad and ready to help arrange.
