Hi! I am in HangZhou right now and would like to climb HuangShan either the weekend of 14Dec or 21Dec. I would like to climb up then take the cable car down. Also, I would like to see the sunrise/sunset. What''s the best and cheapest way to do this? I have 3 days free (Friday to Sunday).Also could I fit in other places in this trip? If so how? (eg Zhuhai, Xidi or Chengkan)

Hangzhou South railway station is close to the airport, it is about 26 km from the airport. Hangzhou railway station is about 71 km from the airport.
You could take a shuttle bus from Hangzhou railway station to airport directly.
If you go to South railway station, you could take a taxi directly, or take No. 700 bus to the bus station, then take a shuttle bus to the airport.

Hii please, am travelling from Africa-- Burundi and the only flight am getting goes to Hangzhou, and am supporsed to go to Yangzhou university.Is it possible and can i get someone who can pick me up from Hangzhou to Yangzhou university then i pay.
Hi Leila, from Hangzhou to Yangzhou is about 300km, 4hrs by car. If we arrange a car and a driver for you, it would be very expensive. I suggest that you take a taxi to Hangzhou North Bus Station 杭州汽车北站fist, then take a bus to Yangzhou.

The bus to Yangzhou departs at 7:40, 9:10, 920, 11:10, 13:25, 15:05, 16:45. It takes about 4.5-5hrs. The price is CNY120-150.
After you get to Yangzhou, you can take a taxi to Yangzhou University.

Hi, my boss will stay at Marriott HangZhou on 13Dec, which station is convenient for him to take the rail which the rail can arrive Shanghai? he have to connect his flight at Pudong Airport. And do he need to pre purchase the train ticket from HangZhou to Shanghai?? Thank you very much.
Hi Joyce, it is from Hangzhou Railway Station to take the bullet train to Shanghai. He can purchase the train ticket in advance or after arrival. There are lots of bullet train from Hangzhou to Shanghai everyday. But as he has to connect his flight at Pudong Airport, so pre-purchasing is suggested.

Hi Joyce, he can purchase the ticket in advance or after arrival. There are lots of bullet trains from Hangzhou to Shanghai, with good frequency.

Hi, you can take the airport shuttle bus Line 5 from Pudong airport to go to Shanghai Railway station first. These buses depart from 5:30am to 9:00pm at an interval of 15-20 minutes. The trip will need 80 minutes' ride and ticket price is about 18RMB (3USD). At Shanghai Railway Station,there are many trains go to Hangzhou. Catch one of them and get off at Hangzhou Railway Station. The train trip will take you about 90 minutes and the ticket price is around 120RMB (19USD).
At Hangzhou Railway station, you should take a taxi to go to SSAW Boutique Hotel. It is about 30 minutes’ ride from Hangzhou Railway Station to the hotel. The taxi fare is around 50RMB (8USD). Wish you have a nice trip.

Hi Moothai. The best way for you to go Luchao Port is to take a taxi from Pudong airport. The trip will take you around an hour and the taxi fare is about 160RMB (25USD). You need book the boat ticket in advance. It is very hard for you to get a boat ticket from Luchao port at the same day. hi, i am planning to visit shanghai for a week in the month of april 2013. I between my friend and I are planning to visit Suzhou and Hangzhou. Our main interests are shopping and sightseeing. Is it enough to visit Suzhou for a day trip and maybe spent 2 nights in Hangzhou?
Hi Sally, yes, that is a wonderful arrangement. It is enough for a one-day sightseeing tour in Suzhou, if you don't plan to go shopping. Or you can spend one night in Suzhou and one night in Hangzhou, both of them are fantastic.
