1 Answer

A group of 4- 10 friends are interested in visiting the Harbin Ice Festival next year. We are also interested in visiting Shanghai at the same time. When would be the best time to go avoiding the heaviest crowds and still see the Festival? Can you put together an itinerary with Shanghai as the base city? Please include cost of airfare from LAX. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Dear Sally, In general in April and May it is a good time for traveling to China, but for visiting Harbin, I suggest you have a tour in winter ( from December to February in the next year). Harbin is located in north of China and is famous for the snow sculptures and ice sculptures. These beautiful sceneries are seen in cold weather. We listed much information about this city on line, you could realise it by yourself. Please click: http://www.chinahighlights.com/harbin/

Dear Ann, The entrance fee ranges from CNY200/US$32 to CNY240/US$38. Sun Island park is about 9 km from the down town and Zhaolin park is in city center, it is convenient to take a taxi to get there. I suggest you stay in a hotel which is located in down town. We usuall recommend our clients to stay in Holiday Inn City Center Harbin (4*) and Modern Hotel Harbin(4*). You could check their information on line. Please click: http://www.chinahighlights.com/hotel/
