How about going during spring festival? We will only visit for 3days/2nights. Would Feb 14-16 be a good time to go, or is it too late?

Hi Anthony, Thanks for your enquiry! We are glad to arrange a private car for you on the mentioned dates, is it for two people or more? Is the car only for city use, i.e. not for other cities? The quotation would be more accurate if you could advise more details. I look forward to hearing from you again!

Hello, I plan to visit Harbin sometime in February. I''m amazed at all this variety of restaurants. The only concern I have is: what is the situation there during the Spring Festival, I mean, that one for the coming of the New Year? I think this year it starts at February 10? Is everything going to be closed during these days?

Hi Konstantin, the restaurants won't be closed during the Spring Festival. Actually it is the peak time for business. Yes, the Chinese Lunar New Year starts from Jan. 10. Jan.9 is the New Year's Eve.

Hi, the date for Snow and Ice Festival is from Jan. 05, 2013 to Feb. 28, 2013. So you could still see the ice sculptures during this period. As the weather will be getting warm by then. The sculptures many not be as pretty as in January.

Hi Jan, I think you could buy the shoes as your size in Harbin because the residents there are taller than the persons live in south of China.

Hi Toni santoso,  It is Christy from China Highlights, your travel advisor. I’m happy here to help you.  The Ice Sculpture Festival opens from 20th Dec. to 20th Feb. Not sure when to end. It will depend on weather. But usually, there is no ice sculpture in the end of Feb. If you really would like to see it, you could consider to revise your departure date. Leather jackets, boots, scarves as well as ear muff need to be well prepared, especially for children and senior citizens.

We'll celebrate our Chinese New Year from Feb. 9th to 15th, it will be crowded at the ski resort , so I suggest that you should change your date to avoid this period. It is more than 200km from Harbin airport to Yabuli, taxi is not a good choice, I suggest that you should take train , there are 3 trains leave at 7:30am,8:30am and 5pm. it is about 3.5 hrs ride. you can rent ski equipment at the ski resort, you can book a package with hotel like http://www.clubmed.com.cn.
