Hi Jay, it is better go from Guangzhou, which is much nearer.

The Kowloon-Guangzhou express stop at Guangzhou, not at Shaoguan. You can take bullet train from Guangzhou to Shaoguan.

Dear Sumit,

You could take a high speed train from Wuhan to Shenzhen, it takes about 4-5 hours and it costs about US$87-135 per person. Then take a train from Shenzhen to Hong Kong, it takes about half an hour and there are many trains every day.

Dear Vanessa,

In general, you need to spend about US$180 for applying a China visa, it takes about two weeks. You could apply it from Chinese Embassy in your country. Here is their official website: http://vn.china-embassy.org/eng/lsyw/

Your husband doesn't need a visa for entering Hong Kong.

Hi Neil, from Hong Kong to Kaiping, there is no direct train. You can take train from HK to Guangzhou first, then change bus to Kaiping. We can also arrange private car and English speaking tour guide for you. Please kindly advise the starting date of your tour. Thanks! Whitney
