We (5 persons) would like to go from Kunming to Yuanyang with the means of transport faster? Is this the night bus? The direct bus? Can we rent a taxi, a car?

Asked by Katty on Feb. 6, 2011
Coco Yang (Feb. 7, 2011) replied:
Hi Katty, There is only one night direct bus from Kunming to Yuanyang each day, but this bus is not very clean and it does not run on the highway to Yuanyang. So, I suggest that you first take a bus to Jianshui, about 3 hours and then take a bus to Yuanyang from Jianshui, about 3 hours. Regards, Coco

Yes, the forecast is calling for cold and a mix of sun and rain. Carry a raincoat and perhaps an umbrella along on the trip. It is not uncomfortable cold during the day, however at night it drops to a cold temperature.

Hi, I have a plan to visit Dongchuan for taking a photo during New Year (Jan1-5), is it nice at that time? Snow or something? If the road is blocked then I will plan for another place (Yuanyang). Thank you..

Asked by banjoboom on Oct. 28, 2010
Ruru Zhou (Oct. 28, 2010) replied:
Hi, Banjoboom, It is generaly dry and cool in Januray. Dongguan is in south China and it rarely snows. The average temperature during January is around 10 c. By the way, why do you choose Dongguan as you photo destination, as far as i know, there are nothing special in this city.
