Dear Andy Tan, Some of the scenic spots are far from the down town, so it is not easy to quote to you at present. Could you please let me know which spots you would like to visit? In addition, our driver will serve you about 8 hours per day, there is an extra fee if you would let him serve you more time. Our driver only speak Chinese, if you don't speak Chinese, we need to arrange an English speaking guide for you. Please feel free to let me know the details. My e-mail is lussie@chinahighlights.net

Dear Anoulith, I am not sure which Shaxi you mean, could give me more information about it? There is no railway station in Shangri-la, so you could take a bus to Lijiang. The buses is available from 7:10am to 17:40pm, it takes about 4.5 hours. It costs about CNY40-50(US$6.5-8).

Hi, we plan to travel from Shangri-La to Kunming to catch a flight in Kunming at 10:10am. What about the night coaches from Shangri-La to Kunming and/or Lijiang to Kunming, what are the schedule, when do they leave Shangri-La/Lijiang and at what time do they arrive in Kunming? Also is the schedule reliable? Thanks a lot.

Hi, I am planning a trip to China, August-September, and hope to see the Yuanyang terraces in all their glory! I intend to travel across from Thailand to top of Laos and enter China through Xishuangbanna. Spend a few days in this area before traveling up to Dali and Lijiang but would like to detour off to the Yuanyang Hani Terraces and also visit the Hill tribe villages along this route. Can I get a bus along this route or is it advisable to go in a tour group? I have a leg disability so will not be able to walk long distances which may prevent me from getting the most out of many organized tours. I am impressed with you idea of tailor making your own tour and wonder if you may be able to assist with arrangements. I am from Australia, 55 year old disable woman, traveling alone so I am disadvantage within the tourist options already so have chosen to do most of my traveling by public transport, budget accommodation and plan my own meals. This is however, a VERY big job which I have been working on now for over 1 month as I learn about China and the places I would like to go to and things I may like to see. I''ve been wanting to go to China for a long time and now is my chance so I hope you will be able to advise me as I travel through the country over 2 months. Thank you and hope to hear from your soon. Kathy

Dear Silvana, It is safe to take a flight to Lijiang, we usually arrange flight for our client. Sometimes we also arrange a vehicle from Dali to Lijiang or from Lijiang to Zhongdian, the road condition is good and it is smooth.
