Hi Melvyn, there is no such VIP sleeper for 2 people with attached toilet from Lijiang to Kunming. The normal soft sleeper is about CNY230. You can buy it at the railway station, or ask your hotel to help booking it. Our office don't have those single tickets booking service. Regards, Whitney

Hi Don, For Lijiang tour, 3 full days are enough. you can explore the old town on your own day 4th day. For the itinerary. I suggest :one day tour to old town and Shuhe old town , one day tour to Jade snow mountain and one day tour to Tiger leaping Gorges. The price for 3 days tour is US$350 per person, we'll include a private English speaking guide , a driver , Entrance fees and lunch for  each day. I'll send you an email with detailed itinerary and quote.

Hello susanto, thank you for your questions. There is no international flight to the rest cities except Kunming. So I believe you will need to start and end the tour from Kunming. I have just sent you a  proposal according to your needs including all the highlights in the cities you listed. Please check your email.

which way is best to go up from Kunming to Shangrila and back to Kunming before reaching Guilin? How long should we plan? (we think about a week arriving October 10 and been in Guilin on October 17) For now : we think : Kunming - Dali Train at night 10/10 - Dali one day 10/11 Night in Dali - Travel to Shangri-la 11/12 night in Shangri la - Passing through the Tiger Leap Gorge 11/13-14 - Night in Lijiang 11/14 - Day in Lijiang 11/15 - then we see how we do one day more in Lijiang or one day more in Guilin. IS that ok you think?

I suggest that you should go to Lijiang before Shangri-la. Yes, you can take overnight train to Dali, then one day Dali on Oct.11, then bus to Lijiang and stay there for two days on Oct.12& 13, then hiking Tiger Leaping Gorges on Oct 14& 15 and get to Shangri-la in the evening of Oct 15, one day in Shangri-la on Oct 16 and fly to Guilin via Kunming on Oct17th. You need a guide for The Tiger Leaping Gorges hiking. You need to stay one night in a hostel on the way. I understand that you'll arrange the trip on your own, but I still like to send you an itinerary for a package tour to those places. Please check you mailbox.

I am going to take overnight train from Lijiang to Kunming and then take the flight back to Hong Kong in the afternoon. Since the train will arrive at 7:00 am and our flight will not leave Kunming until 3:20 pm. I am wondering if the train station will keep the luggage for us so that we can wander around the Kunming city before going to airport and is it safe to leave luggage in train station.

Dear Betty Lam, You could store your luggage at the railway station. They provide this service. The cost is not expensive, it is around CNY2-3/US$0.3-0.5 for one piece of baggage. In general, it is safe to leave your luggage there, but i suggest you take the important things with you.
