Hi - Am arriving into HK on the 15-4-13 and staying 1 x night, then travelling to Macau next day for 1 x night, then I wish to go to Guangzhou (16-4-13) to the Canton Fair. Can I arrange my China Visa at the Border Gates in Macau. I''ve done this before to shop in Zhuhai, but only for the day trip and returned back to Macau that same day. This time I want to go from Zhuhai to Guangzhou, probably by train and attend the Fair for 3 days before returning to HK on the 18-4-13. Can you please advise me if this would be possible?Regards LK

Dear Lance,

Based on our experience, you could not get a visa at the border gate. You'd better apply for it in advance in your country. I suggest you could ask the Chinese Embassy in your country.

Dear Sumit,

You could take a high speed train from Wuhan to Shenzhen, it takes about 4-5 hours and it costs about US$87-135 per person. Then take a train from Shenzhen to Hong Kong, it takes about half an hour and there are many trains every day.

Hi Teresa, all visitors to Macau must hold a valid passport (As with most countries, you will need at least 6 months validity on your passport) or a valid travel document. You can also consult the China embassy/consulate-general in your country to see if it is applicable to your case. Check out China embassy/consulate information.
