I will in Huangshan in Oct and would like to travel to Nanjing from there. What is the best mode of transport in terms of comfort and safety. Train or Bus? Is it expressway all the way? Any recommendation of 2 or 3 * hotels recently nearby bus or train station in Nanjing?
Hi Ken, there are both buses and trains from Huangshan to Nanjing. Bus may be a better way. You can take it at Tunxi Bus Station. It departs at 12:10 & 16:30, takes 4-5hrs. Some of the way is expressway, some not.

Hi, China Highlights! I am a businessman based in HK and for a year have been travelling regularly to my partner in Yangzhou. As I do not speak Chinese I have always travelled with my Mandarin-speaking accountant. I would now like to attempt the trip on my own. So far I have used various options: flight to Shanghai then bullet train south, flight to Nanjing then private car to Yangzhou, etc. I would like to try flying to Nanjing then getting the ''shuttle'' to Yangzhou. Is it a bus or a train and how easy would it be for me to get to the ''shuttle'' from the airport? Kindest regards, Gregor

Hi, i have a F - level visa and I am allowed to study in nanjing for six month but during my stay in nanjing i have to travel back to my country for a few days because of a marriage of a family member.so i have to apply for a new visa,to get back to china again, am I right? can i apply that visa in nanjing before I travel back to my country, because its impossible for me to get an visa on two days in germany, since there is a new regulation that issues visa after 4 days...where is the exact office in nanjing for applying visa?thank you a lot!

If your F China Visa just for single entry, you need to apply double entry F China Visa when you are in Nanjing. For more information, it is suggested you consult with Nanjing Public Security Bureau.

Hi, I am planning my China trip now. On October 27th I will leave NanJing for ZhangJiaJie (flight to ZhangJiaJie?) and Fenghuang for hiking. On November 2nd I will go to Kunming (flight from ChangSha?). Is it enough time for ZhangJiaJie and Fenghuang? Shall I fly to ZhangJiaJie or ChangSha? Going to ZhangJiaJie or Fenghuang first? Or shall I just visit ZhangJiaJie? Thanks for your help.

You could take a filght from Nanjing to Zhangjiajie on Oct.27, then have 3-day tour to Zhangjiajie and Fenghuang. Go to Zhangjiajie from Fenghuang by private car and take a train to Changsha by train on Oct. 31. At last take a flight from Changsha to Kunming by flight on Nov.1 or on Nov. 2. From Nanjing Railway Station to Southeast University, you can take a taxi. It is about 7kms, takes aound 20mins, and costs CNY 20-30.
