We plan to leave a Shanghai hotel(right around People''s Square) and to arrive at Pudong international airport departing at 8:30AM. How early do Subways or buses start in AM to take us there on time? What would be the best way to get to the airport besides Taxi? Thank you so much.
Dear H. Pham,
Thank you for your inquiry.
As your flight departs at 8:30am, you need to get the airport at around 6:30 if you want to catch an international flight. The subways start at 6:00 and it takes about 2 hours to the airport, it will be too late.
The shuttle bus will also be too late for you, so I'm afraid that you have to take a taxi.

Hi Thet, it is hard to tell which nightclub is most relax & enjoyable as they are different. Below are some Bars for your reference:
Cloud 9 Bar
Situated on the 87th floor of Grand Hyatt, the world's tallest hotel, Cloud 9 Bar is one of the most favorite bars in Shanghai for visitors from all around the world. It is quite a romance for people to sit peacefully in the bar, and looking down the city to appreciate the 360 degree splendour of Shanghai. Westerners like to enjoy their tall drinks in the Sky Lounge one floor up where they can sit on the deck and gaze out on the curve of the earth.
Cloud 9 Bar is not so easy to be found, especially for foreigners who have never been in the hotel before. People should take lifts for three times before they can find the bar. First take a lift to 54th floor, then again take a lift in the hall of the 54th floor to the 85th floor, and then take another life on the 85th floor to the 87th floor, where the bar is located.
However, if you are tired of looking for lifts, feel free to let the discreet waitors show you the way.
