Topic From: Planning a 3-Day Tour of Guilin, Longsheng, and Yangshuo's Highlights
i am a 54 year old father traveling with 20 year old son and considering flying to Guilin for 3 dats 6-6-2013. what would you recommend we do for the 3 days? Best to fly from shanghai, correct?
Hi Robert, for the 3 days, you can visit all the highlights of Guilin. i.e.:
1. one day to the terraced field in Longsheng
2. one day for Li River Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo+country side tour in a open mini-bus in Yangshuo.
3. half day city tour in Guilin or learning Tai chi, painting, cooking in Yangshuo, after that, fly out of Guilin.
There are lots of flights to and from Guilin, such as Beijing, Xian, Shanghai, Hongkong, etc. Please choose the one which is convenient for you.
We are based in Guilin. We are more than happy to help arrange your Guilin tour. Please kindly advice the class of hotel you would like to stay in. Thanks, Whitney

Topic From: Jiaxing Transportation
Hi Lynn.. I would like to know how i book a car/bus to take me from Jiaxing - Shanghai around 1am at night. How much and how do I book? I appreciate any help you might offer. Thanks.
Dear Jacob,
We don't have a local agency in Jiaxing and I regret that we could not arrange a transfer for you.
I searched the information on line, the cost is about CNY400/US$65 per car at least. As you will set off at night, I am not sure if the driver will like to go to. I suggest you ask the staff of the hotel to arrange it for you.

We are doing SHANGHAI-BEIJIN VIKING EMERALD RIVER CRUISE. Flying from UK 23 Aug 2014 - Shangai 2 nights hotel stay then board ship at Wuhan - disembark 31 August 2014 in Chongging. (If we get rain, will it be all day long - or just heavy showers). Then we are in Xian 2 nights and 3 Nights Beijing. WILL WE GET VERY WET DURING THIS TIME OF YEAR
Dear Lorna,
Based on the former data, it will be rainy during that period in these places, but it won't too heavy. In Shanghai, it might last for a long time.
Here is an useful website for checking the new information. You could search it before leaving for China. Please click: http://www.weather.com.cn/english/

Dear Malene,
You could take a bus from Tangkou to Xidi. There are two buses every day, it sets off at 9:40am and 15:40pm. It costs about CNY16/US$2.6 per person.

Topic From: Xilamuren grassland
Hi, could i enquire on the means to arrive at the grassland once i reach hohot railway station? I will be taking a train over from shanghai.
Hi, there are some local hostels around the scinc spot, the condition is simple and they might not know English. You also could rent a tent, but I think it's tired for you to stay in a rent.
I suggest you book a 1-2 days tour with travel agency from Hohot, they will arrange the transport, accomodation and English speak guide for you.
Hi Lussie, thanks for the directions. As for accomodations in the xilamuren grasslands, what is the norm of visiting tourists? I am considering the options of staying for a night, and from forums i read that you could stay with the locals or rent a tent for the night.
Dear Kenneth,
You could take a bus to Zhaohe (召河)from bus station which is near the railway station. It takes about 2 hours and it is about 90 km. The cost is about CNY25/US$4 per person. You will arrive at Xilamuren grassland.
