What is the best way to get from HK to Shenzhen where I will stay a few days and then from Shenzhen to Guzhen where I again will stay a few days and then to the nearest airport to fly Home to Australia? Thank you in advance for your help. I would like to travel the fastest and most direct routes if possible and preferably not by Bus, also any indications of costs would be most appreciated.

Asked by Naim on Sep. 2, 2013
Doris Huang (Sep. 5, 2013) replied:
Dear Naim, Thank you for your inquiry. Per the flight, there will be more flight from UAS to Guangzhou, and the price is cheaper than other cities. You can fly to Guangzhou and take a train to Shenzhen (about 2 hours). As you will stay in Shenzhen for 10 days, I think a hostel will be good. Compared to stay in a traditional hotel ,hostel will give you more information about what and where to explore in Shenzhen. There are also many Muslim restaurants in Shenzhen, here are some recommended restaurants: Xinjiangren Muslim Restaurant (新疆人穆斯林餐厅) Add: No.61-9, Shahe Street (沙河街61-9) Add: (+86)075583258966 Xinjiang Muslim Restaurant (新疆穆斯林餐厅) Add: No.312 Zhenxing Food Palace, Zhenxing West Road (振兴西路振兴美食城312号) Add: (+86)075526766692

Hi, September is not as hot as the previous few months, but it is still hot. Average high temperatures are 31 °C (88 °F) and average low temperatures are 24 °C (75 °F). September sees the most rain of the year, and the city is wet. Summer clothing such as T-shirts and shorts are enough. Regards, Coco

I plan to visit shenzhen in a very near future. Can you kindly recommend me best places in term of good prices for items like clothes for men and women?

Asked by sim on Aug. 14, 2013
Doris Huang (Aug. 16, 2013) replied:
Dear Sim, Thank you for your inquiry. Per the clothes wholesale markets in Shenzhen, Dongmen area (Dongmen commercial pedestrian street in Luohu District) is recommended. This area is the most bustling wholesale area in Shenzhen, every morning around 3 am, people start to stock clothes. There are many wholesale markets in this area, among them the Baima Wholesale Market is the most famous one. There are clothes of men, women and children and all kinds of bags and suitcases. Hope you have a good time there! Doris
