Would you like us to arrange a private tour for you? Our price for a group of 2 people would be US$180-250 per person per day. The Great Wall is in Beijing. You could take high speed train between Suzhou and Beijing. It takes about 5 hours.

Dear sonja, There is only one train from Guangzhou to Suzhou, it takes about 22 hours, it costs about CNY388/US$63 for hard sleeper and CNY686/US$112 for soft sleeper. You could also take a flight to Shanghai, then take a train to Suzhou. It takes about 2.5 hours by plane and half an hour by bullet train or high speed train to Suzhou from Shanghai. According to the 5 star hotel in Suzhou, I suggest you stay in Pan Pacific Suzhou Hotel. Most our clients who stayed there gave a good feedback. Please check the details: http://www.chinahighlights.com/hotel/suzhou-hotels/pan-pacific-suzhou.htm

Dear koshila, It costs about CNY500/US$81. It is too expensive, i suggest you take a bus or a train to Suzhou railway station, then take a taxi to the hotel. Furthermore I don't know the contact number of a driver. If you still need a taxi to Suzhou hotel directly, you could find a driver when you arrive at Shanghai airport.

Dear Claude, Thank you for your inquiry. There is no direct train from Suzhou to Yixing, so bus is recommended. The bus depart from Suzhou South Bus Terminal Station every 1 hour, and it takes about 1.5 hours to get to Yixing.

Dear Would you like to go to the Gate of the Orient in Suzhou? If so, you could take Line 1 subway from People square stop(人民广场站) to Shanghai railway station stop, then take a high speed train. It takes about half an hour by train. At last, take Line 2 subway to Guangji south Road stop(广济南路站), change to Line 1 subway and get off at the Gate of the Orient stop(东方之门站).

I will be in Suzhou next week and like to get from there to Shanghai City Center. I have also two large suit cases with me. Are there any buses going this way? If yes which bus station in Suzhou should I take? If not what would you recommend? One more question, how much would cost a taxi from Suzhou to Shanghai Bund ?

Hi,   the taxi is about RMB4500 or so for 1.5 hours by highway. But the most economic and fastest way is take bullet trains. There are many bullet trains everyday and easy to buy. It iis only take RMB60 for seats in the first class cabin, only 30 minutes to Shanghai Train staiton. Then you can take subway line 2 to The Bund or Centrel area. If big suitcases is not t very convenient, you can go to the station earily. Good Luck.   Christy
