Dear Ling-ling, It is not too far from one city to another, I suggest you take a high speed train to visit there. I am planning to stay in Shanghai for 2 nights, make a day trip to Suzhou (return to Shnaghai on the same day), I will then have to travel to Hefei the day after (from Shnaghai). Would you recommend me to stay in Shanghai (do a day trip to Suzhou) or stay 1 night in Shanghai then move to Suzhou day after, then move to Hefei after then?

Asked by Ann on Oct. 2, 2012
Whitney Liao (Oct. 7, 2012) replied:
Hi Ann, I suggest that you stay in Shanghai all the 2 nights, then you don't have to pack your luggage so many times. Besides, there is no much difference on hotel rate.

Going to Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou, and hangzhou mid October. I''m a female - what type of clothing should I pack?

Asked by Julie on Sep. 27, 2012
Guest (Oct. 5, 2012) replied:
Julie- Super conincidental! I will be traveling to the same cities in China at the same time... Also concerned about what to pack!
Whitney Liao (Sep. 28, 2012) replied:
Hi Julie, mid October in Beijing is a cool. The temperatures is 7 °C (45 °F)-19 °C (66 °F). You may need a thick coat at the coolest times, otherwise a sweater and jacket are adequate. The degrees in Shanghai, Suzhou and Hangzhou during this time is several degrees higher. So you can take lighter clothes. Whitney Liao (Sep. 10, 2012) replied:
Hi Francis, why not take the bullet train which is very comfortable as well as more frequencies? The bullet train from Suzhou to Hangzhou takes about 2.5hrs, and from Hangzhou to Shanghai, about 1.5hrs. The price is not high.
