Hi I''m going to Taipei area from 20 November to 26 November, will it be raining days in Taipei during the period? If raining, will it be those heavy type?

I am thinking of travelling to Taiwan from 15 August to 25 August 2014. I am planning of visiting Alyson Mountains, Tai Chung and Kao Shiung. Is it safe to visit during this period because of the typhoon season? I am a little worried. Thank you.

Dear Ivy, We don't have much information about Taiwan, so I had to search it on line. You could rent a vehicle from Taoyuan airport to Yuchi Township and it takes about 3 hours. It costs about TWD2500(equals to US$82) per car.

Hi Sying, November is the best time to go to Taiwan. The weather is comfortable. Autumn clothes will do. What is more, there is no typhoon at that month.

hi. i will be travelling to taiwan beginning of april for 8days ,is it enuf to just bring long sleeves and short sleeve shirt n long short pants ?need to bring sweater?

Hi Ruoxi, the temperature is around 15-20℃, long sleeves and short sleeve shirt and long short pants would be ok. But the temperature in the night and early morning will be lower, so you can also bring a light coat.

There would still be some typhoons in Sep. and Oct., but not frequent. If you worry about it, you can postpone to Nov.
