I am planning to have a trip to Taiwan on mid of March next year for cherry blossoms season, is that really fully crowded everywhere? May i know on March period more crowded or December period? Thanks a lot.

Hi Casalin, yes, it will be very crowed everywhere. On March period is more crowded than December period.

Excuse me, but Taiwan is NOT a part of China, so why on earth is it featured here on a "China Highlights" website? This is extremely insulting to the people of Taiwan.

The Taiwan question has a really complex history, actually. But it is widely accepted that Taiwan is a part of China.

Hello! Which is the best part of taiwan to visit during the end august period? Will the east coast be less affected by potential typhoons? Or is it better to head up to the mountains?

Dear Luke, Based on the former data, typhoon comes frequently during this period and it usually rains heavily. This bad weather might affact your trip, I suggest you'd better have a travel after the middle of September. Dear Eric, During that period, the average temperature will be 18-25℃(64.4-77℉), sometimes it will rain, but not heavily. You could takes some shirts and a coat with you.

I wld like to go to Taiwan in early Dec. will be going with my family with 2 boys (5 & 2 years old). Is the weather too cold for them? Pls advise. Thanks

I recommend the Chiang Kai-shekMemorial Hall, National Palace Museum, TAIPEI 101, Xin Guang San Yue to you. They are all within the access of MRT station. We are not able to tell you the weather around 2nd week of November. From the previous record, it is about 15-20℃(59-68℉). The suggested clothes are long sleeved shirts and a thin coat. If you go to Mount Ali, a thick coat is suggested.

Hi Evelyn, it is a good time but also a typhoon season. Summer clothes such as T-shirts, skirts is okay. Umbrella is also suggested as there may be sudden rains.
