Q & A about Xian by Our Customers
Topic From: Beijing Travel Tips
My husband and I have booked a trip to bejing, xian, tibetand river cruise. unfortunately we arrive on Oct 1, 2014. I am concerned about the crowds and our ability to enjoy the sites in the city and tombs. At the time of booking Viking cruises did not tell us that this is a major holiday and extremely busy. We will be visiting from the US and this was to be a trip of lifetime. Do you recommend that we reschedule our trip for a later date despite the extra costs for making these airline and tour company changes?
Asked by Sandra Terwillegar on Jul. 20, 2014
Dear Sandra Terwillegar，
In fact，there are lots of tourist in the scenic spots, because from Oct. 1 to Oct. 7 it is Chinese National Holiday. You could spend long time to join the queue for tickets. It also might affect you to take some good photos. If you could, I suggest you change your travel time.

I need a reliable and trustworthy mini bus/van to take 8 people for some sightseeing in Lijiang/Dali and to Xiangge Lila for 3 to 4 days.
Asked by Andy Tan on Jul. 20, 2014
Dear Andy Tan,
Some of the scenic spots are far from the down town, so it is not easy to quote to you at present.
Could you please let me know which spots you would like to visit? In addition, our driver will serve you about 8 hours per day, there is an extra fee if you would let him serve you more time. Our driver only speak Chinese, if you don't speak Chinese, we need to arrange an English speaking guide for you.
Please feel free to let me know the details. My e-mail is firstname.lastname@example.org

I want to go to Guoliang Tunnel. How much is the tour from Zhengzhou for a solo traveler? I''ll be coming from Shanghai, so after Zhengzhou, I''ll proceed to Xian.
Asked by Mark on Jul. 9, 2014
Guoliang village is located at remore area. You could take a train from Zhengzhou to Xinxiang(新乡)(around one hour), then rent a van near Xinxiang train station to go to Guoliang village directly(around two hours). It costs about CNY150/US$24 for rental. After visiting, you could take a train from Xinxiang to Xian. There are some high speed trains. It takes about 2.5 to 3 hours.
