Hi kavita here, From beijing can v go to xian for a day trip and return the same night. How much would a train both ways cost and a flight ticket both ways cost?Regards
Asked by kavita on Feb. 25, 2013
You don't have enough time to take a train to visit Xian from Beijing and there is no suitable train taking.
I suggest you take a flight both ways to visit there. For a group of two persons, the total cost is CNY6866 (US$1108). We will book round way flight and arrange one day Xian tour for you. The tour guide will pick you up at the airport, visit The Terracotta Warriors and Horses and Big Wild Goose Pagoda. The lunch is included. After visiting, you will be transfered to the airport.
If you are interested in our service, please feel free to let me know the details, I will give you an exact quote. For example:
1.When will you travel to Xian?
2.How many people will travel?

hi Is there a soft sleeper train direct from xian to zhangjiajieif not can u advise best train route to take than
Asked by brian burns on Feb. 19, 2013
There is no direct train from Xi'an to Zhangjiajie , the best route is you should take train to Changsha, there are many bullet trains from Xi'an to Changsha, and takes you about 6.5 hrs, then you can take train K9031 from Changsha to Zhangjiajie , the train leaves Changsha at 2210 and arrive in Zhangjiajie at 9:37am next day. You can also take bus from changsha to Zhangjiajie, about 4 hrs, there are many buses every day.

Dear sir,We are 3 passengers, travelling Gianzhou to Meixian on 12th March 2013 and leaving Meixian 17th march. Our flt back to Uk is early flight 9.30 from Guanzhou Interna Airport. Any suggestions for least problems in our journey. Xie Xie
Asked by sylvie on Feb. 18, 2013
Hi Sylvie, it is suggested to leave 3hrs before departure for checking in the international flights. For a flight leaving at 9:30am, you are supposed to be at the airport at around 6:30am. So I suggest that you come back to Guangzhou one day in advance before departure.

My wife and I are going to China in October. We will begin our trip in Beijing and will spend a month traveling around the country. Is it possible to see the following in a month? Wutai Shan, Xian, Fenghuang, Dazhai and Ping an, Hvanghan, Yuan Rice terraces as well as boat trips on the Yantze River and Li River? If this is too much what would be your recommendation?
Asked by Dan Beamer on Feb. 4, 2013
Hi Dan, 30 days is possible to cover all these places you referred. As you will come to Guilin for the Li River cruise, I suggest that you change Yuanyang Rice Terraces into Longji rice terraces in Guilin. Then you don't have to fly to a city only for one attraction there. And the Longji rice terrace is Guilin is also fabulous.

Topic From: China Weather in April
Hi there, i am planning to take my leave sometime between Apr to May. Where is the best place to visit in China? As a matter of fact, it is not my first time travelling in China. I have been most of the hotspots in China eg, Shanghai, Yunnan, Beijing CHengdu, Xian, Hangzhou. I have heard alot about Harbin... do tell me more about this place, its culture, temperature and cuisine.
Asked by Sally Foo on Feb. 4, 2013
In general in April and May it is a good time for traveling to China, but for visiting Harbin, I suggest you have a tour in winter ( from December to February in the next year).
Harbin is located in north of China and is famous for the snow sculptures and ice sculptures. These beautiful sceneries are seen in cold weather. We listed much information about this city on line, you could realise it by yourself.

Can you to travel to this location from Beijing by something other than airplane?
Asked by Rachel on Feb. 2, 2013
If you would like to travel from Beijing to Xian, you could take a train, besides taking a flight.
There are some high speed trains every day, it takes about 6 hours and it costs about CNY825/US$133 for the first class seat.
