Can you to travel to this location from Beijing by something other than airplane?

Dear Rachel, If you would like to travel from Beijing to Xian, you could take a train, besides taking a flight. There are some high speed trains every day, it takes about 6 hours and it costs about CNY825/US$133 for the first class seat.

Hi Mandy, November is the end of Autumn and the beginning of winter, the temperature in these cities is around 7-18 degrees. You can prepare jackets, sweaters, long-sleeve shirts, etc. For footwear, bring the accordingly warm and comfortable ones is okay. We are booked for a February 11-20 trip to Beijing (flight and hotel arrangements have been made). We are interested in an overnight viist to Xian by air. Are there any days during this time better suited to travel there. I am working on our itinerary and at this point our plans are very flexible.

Can you tell me how far is the Terracotta Army located from Xian downtown area by bus? Also can you recommend me hotels in Xian downtown area, my budget is $50 USD /night. Am looking for something modest but clean and safe.

Hi My husband and I are planning a trip to China in April this year We have never travelled in an Asian country and are a bit concerned as we are 67 and 73 years WE are flying to Guangzhou and from there we can fly to one destination but then we would have to use cheaper transport We we would like to go to Zhangjiajie and maybe to Ixian to see the terrocatta warriers Could you please advise the best way to organize it Is it safe to travel by train? And also could we get the Bullet train to these places ?

Sí, necesita la visa para venir a China. Pero no podemos encargarlo, pero si reserva nuestro viaje, podemos ofrecerles una carta de invitación para ayudarles a solicitar el visado, en realidad es muy fácil para ganar el visado si tendría la reserva del vuelo internacional de ida y vuelta y la reserva del hotel en China.
