Will be staying in Xian city center between 20 - 25 April. I would like to request for a English speaking tour for 3 persons - 1 day to Terracotta, city wall, museum etc. And 1 day travel by fast train to Luoyang to see Grottoes and Peony flowers. Pls arrange a suitable itinerary with a group/seat-in-coach and how much ?

Hi Joyce, we are very glad to arrange it for you. What class of hotel would you like us to arrange, please? For 3 persons, do you like one room with an extra bed or two rooms?

Hi, I would be traveling to Xiangyang for two months. Are there limits to the weight of luggage I can carry with me? Also, I would be bringing a two year old laptop , an external hard drive and a few months old digital camera. Do I need to pay any duty for these? Also, should I carry RMB with me to China or should I exchange my domestic currency at China airport?

Lussie Lu (Mar. 21, 2013) replied:

Dear Babi,

The limits of the weight of luggage depends on different airlines, I suggest you ask the airlines from which you will buy the flight ticket.

In general, you don't need to pay the tax for taking the laptop and camera.

You could take some RMB to China or you also could exchang it on arrival at the airport or in down town. If you would like to take some cash, please make sure it is not more than CNY20000 or US$5000.

Dear Sir or Madam,

There is no bus from Beijing to Xian or Guilin, you could take a train.

There are some high speed trains from Beijing to Xian, it takes about 6 hours and it costs about CNY825/US$133 for the first class.

It takes about 23-24 hours from Bejing to Guilin and it costs about US$101 for the soft sleeper.

You could search the details on our website. Please click: http://www.chinahighlights.com/china-trains/

Whitney Liao (Mar. 20, 2013) replied:

Hi Martin, I suggest that you take the Yangtze River Cruise start from Chongqing to Yichang(the essence of the Yangtze River Cruise ), then fly to Shanghai. The route is as below: Xian-Chongqing-Yangtz River Cruise-Yichang-Shanghai-Hong Kong

If the Yangtze River Cruise starts from Shanghai to Chongqing, it usually takes 8 nighs 9 days.
