There is no public bus between Zhouzhuang and Zhujiajiao. It is about 30 km, you could rent a van or taxi to get there.

Hi Mia, there are no direct trains or buses from Zhouzhuang Water City. You can take bullet train to Suzhou first. Then change bus at Suzhou South Bus Station. There are direct buses to Zhouzhuang. They are open in the Spring Festival time.

All the stations in Shanghai subways are signed both in Chinese and English, and when the subway arrives at one station, it is broadcasted in English and Chinese as well. You will get to the parking lot 4 by following the guidance of the subway lines. You can also ask for assitance from the staff at the subway station. Have a nice trip.

Which is a better choice?1. Shanghai to Suzhou noon time by train, accommodation in Suzhou for 2 nights. Tour some gardens & attractive places in the afternoon.. Visit Zhouzhuang water town the next day and other gardens. OR2. Shanghai to Zhouzhuang by bus. have half day trip in Zhouzhuang. Late evening to Suzhou by bus and stay 2 nights in Suzhou. Visit gardens and other places the next day.If l choose 2, my concern is whether there is luggage storage facilities at bus station in Zhouzhuang or nearby area which are secured and safe to keep our luggages for several hours?Hope you can give me some advise... Thank you

I recommend option 1,it is not a good idea to take bus from Shanghai to Zhouzhuang,there is no place to store your luggage at the bus station in zhouzhuang and there are only two buses available from Shanghai to zhouzhuang in the afternoon, one leaves at 14:20 and another one at 16:50. From Suzhou to Zhouzhuang, the bus is available every half an hour from 7am to 6pm. I also received your question about how to join our community. Hi,I am travelling to Wuxi to Suzhou...Will be staying at Suzhou over weekends from 17 Aug - 20Aug..flying off on 20Aug 2.30 flight. Not too sure where is good to stay and visit in Suzhou... I will be travelling with a friend...We are more keen on ZhouZhuang or Wuzhen... not too sure how should we go about

Hi, is it possible to take a taxi from Suzhou railway station to Zhouzhuang late in the evening? Or at least to Tongli? How much may it cost? I arrive at Suzhou around 22:00 (10 PM) and would like to visit one of these two villages early in the morning before most tourists come, that''s why I''d like to sleep there a night before. Thanks!
From our previous experience, taking taxi from Suzhou railway station to Zhouzhuang will take about 40 mins at the expense of about 150 RMB. However, we strongly do not recommend a taxi transfer in the late evening since it is too dangerous for foreigners. For your convenience, taking a private transfer would be the safest way. In this way, you will be picked up at your arrival place in Suzhou and be escorted to Zhouzhuang directly. One way transfer takes 40 mins. The whole round-way transfer takes 1.5 hours. You could rest relaxingly during the transfer, without worrying about any uncertainty.
