I Am Visiting China And I Have Heard That China Eastern Airlines Has New Security Restrictions Because Of The Olympics, Is This Correct?

Yes, the security procedures have been increased in the lead up to the Olympics.
1. Be sure that the details on your booking are correct and remember to take all travel document with you as you will need to present these at check-in.
2. If you are visiting Tibet please ensure that you have a valid Tibet Travel Permit when you check-in.
3. It is prohibited to take any liquid on board the flight. Liquid medicine will be checked by security people and help by a security guard on the flight to be collected at the destination. A Medical Certificate issued by a doctor will be required to show that the medicine is required. Infant milk is also prohibited; China Eastern Airlines will supply free milk for your child. Please inform us if you require milk for your child and we will inform China Eastern Airlines
