What about tipping?
- Commencing from Dec 1 2010, CH Victoria, Yangtze 1, Blue Whale, Sunshine China cruises have introduced a $23/RMB150 per person service charge for the passengers who come from Southeast Asia payable in advance. Passengers from other countries can choose to pay the service fee at the end of the cruise.
- All passengers on Victoria Cruises sailing between Chongqing and Yichang are required to pay $23/RMB150 per person service charge. Passengers boarding the Victoria Prince cruising between Chongqing and Shanghai are required to pay $45/RMB 300 per person.
- All passengers on New Century Cruises are required to pay $23/RMB150 per person service charge.
The service charge is payable at the time of boarding. Passengers boarding other cruises may use $5 per person per day as a suggestion but of course this is entirely at your discretion.
How do I pay for onboard purchases?
Credit cards or on-board signature accounts are two alternatives used instead of cash on ship.You can pay by your credit cards or sign your list and pay them when you check out just like what you do in most of China's hotels. Major credit cards acceptable include Visa and Master Cards,etc.

I wanted to find out if kids have to paid on the Yangtze cruises and if so, how much as a % of adult rates? My daughter is 2.5 years old.
Please let us know if there are cruises when kids rates are cheaper v/s the rest for the below 3 yrs old.
