Nancy met me at the airport today and she is a delightful young woman!! She took me to the hotel; it is lovely and I decided just to stay here tonight. I went to the gym and worked out and took a nice bath, unpacked. On the way here from the airport I saw how beautiful Beijing is in the evening!! I am thrilled, as all the descriptions I read talked about the pollution, the sand and wind, etc etc and I was unprepared for the beauty I saw tonight.

I am excited about the tour tomorrow with Nancy. It will be very nice; she and I discussed what I want to see and her ideas for showing me the best things without too many tourists. I am happy with what you have done for me so far and want to thank you.

As for the last message, I never did know for sure about the cabin. I am not worried, as I think it will all be just fine. I was in the Shanghai airport today for 7 hours, bought a book on reading Chinese characters and practiced writing some. Met many nice Chinese people working ...more

Dear Victor,
I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our time in Guilin and the surrounding country.

The whole week was really great, the Li river cruise, our stay in Yangsho, the Longji rice terraces were all highlights,everything lived up to our expectations and more.

Alex our guide is a most delightful young man and answered all our questions and able to give us any imformation we needed.

The only disapointment was the weather!! And none of us have any control over that!! Even so we were able to do most of what we wanted to do, but there is still a lot more we have yet to see, whether we are able to return is not in our hands but if possible we would love to return and see the place in sunshine.

China is certainly a beautiful and diverse country.

I just have returned from my trip to Asia. So I said the first thing I should do, is to thank you for your kindness and generosity. Please note that all arrangements were very nice and every thing was superb I felt so comfortable with all the tour guides you provide me with. Basically, every thing was OK, although this was my first visit to CHINA. I really enjoyed every moment in it. I don? know if I will travel to china in the future. But if I will.
