We had the most marvelous time. All travel arrangements were perfect.

The visits to the Ethnic regions were wonderful, and hotel accommodations in those regions were the best available. All food was terrific.

The only suggestion I would make is that while the roads to those regions are under construction (!!), you allow more time to get to the regions. Leaving at 9:30 got us to the destinations too late for good photograph lighting, and we requested that lunch be skipped to save the time. That worked out fine.

We took the night boat tour in Guilin, and I would suggest you mention that as an option to your customers. It was spectacular.

Our guide in Guilin, Jan-Chiang, was charming and so very helpful. We enjoyed her very much, and wish to let you know that she was excellent. She made arrangements for us to attend the evening show in Yanshou, which was the most wonderful event, and I would suggest that you include that as part of your regular tour, or at least suggest it as an option. It was a highlight of the trip. We enjoyed Yanshou very much, especially the walk along the river. On our next visit, I would like to spend an additional day in Yanshou, visiting the other little villages. I would also suggest you skip the Li River tour on the big tour boat and take one of the smaller bamboo rafts from Yanshou. We will do that next time.

Our guide in Hong Kong, Anna, was also superb. We had a wonderful tour with her, and she gave us excellent suggestions for the two days we would spend in Hong Kong on our own. We took a ferry to Cheng Chau Island for one day and enjoyed that very much. She also arranged a sampam ride at Repulse Bay which was great.

We will definitely return to China, and would like to visit another region, ending up in Hong Kong, as we did on this trip. We have visited Shanghai, Beijing, and Xian in the past, and do not wish to return there. We also are not interested in the Yangtse cruise.

We welcome any suggestions for a visit to another area of China where we might spend a 5 or 6 days. We enjoy the small villages, visiting local families, and just walking around taking pictures.
