Just a quick note to give you some feedback on our trip. We are now back in Australia.Our Guilin visit was most enjoyable and thank you for your part, especially the change in our plans from Yangshuo to the Waterfall Hotel Guilin.

I thought you might like some feed back on the Sheraton compared with the Waterfall Hotel. We were very disappointed in the Sheraton -the service was poor, the housekeeping didn't even bother to clean our cups each day, the staff not friendly and overall the standard of the rooms not up to 5 star standard.

On the other hand, we felt that the Waterfall Lijang was far more professional, friendly staff, better service and the rooms much nicer than the Sheraton.

I am not saying this to complain, but for your information only when booking other guests. I believe we were able to make a very good comparison as we stayed at both hotels within days of each other and had a deluxe room in each and our suggestion is that the Lijang Waterfall Hotel is a much better hotel than the Sheraton.

We also want to commend our guide Michelle and driver Long. Michelle was a great guide, good English, very friendly, polite and sensitive to our needs. Long was a good, safe and friendly driver.

They both deserve a little praise !
