Hello Elaine,
We had a wonderful, and extremely busy, trip.The hotels were excellent, all of the guides (and drivers) were wonderful, the cruise was fantastic, and you chose great places for us to see.

The biggest highlight, amongst many, was the Great Wall at Mutianyu. It was absolutely breathtaking. Often when you've heard a lot about a particular place, actually seeing it can be an anti-climax. But not the Great Wall!

The Terracotta Warriors were much, much better than I thought they were going to be. I didn?ˉt think there were as many repaired warriors to see, but it was quite astounding. Some of the other highlights were the pandas at Chongqing Zoo (we saw four), the whole cruise, especially the visit to the museum in Wuhan. It was an evening visit and the museum was opened especially for the passengers from our ship. The display was spectacular and we felt very privileged. Dear Elaine,

Both my wife and want to thank all at China Hightlights who made our first trip to mainland China such a memorable event. China is awesome ! We were met and taken care of very well. We loved every place we saw.

Our favorites were our entire stay in Guilin both in the city as well as visiting the rice terraces,taking the Li river cruise and visiting the local silk factory. The designs at the Guilin silk factory were the best we saw in China. We also really enjoyed the Forbidden City,The Great Wall and the Sacred Way while in Beijing, the Classical Gardens in Suzhou and amazing Shanghai.

We did not like the pollution or the habit of the older Chines spitting in public.

Consider allowing your western guests a la carte lunches in Chinese restaurants with the guides as the Tour lunches left a lot to be desired

We plan to return soon to see more of China and will bring our three chrildren and families with us. Rest assured we will use Chinalights ...more

I just wanted to send you a quick email and say that we returned from our Tibet trip and really enjoyed ourselves.

I would like to especially compliment the tour guide we had in Lhasa, named Dorjee, who really fit in well with our family and showed us an interesting visit to that city.
