Here are my answers to the questions you sent, and I've attached some pictures as well. My guide, Ling Ling, was great! She's definitely an employee you should keep!

1. What was the best thing about your trip?
The best thing was probably the itinerary. It was flexible enough to not be forced to rush around from place to place and not have to wake up extremely early in the morning, while it was still structured enough to hit up all the major attractions of Shanghai. I left feeling like I had seen everything I wanted to see and more, which is a great thing considering the fact that I only had 2 days to spend there.

2. How could China Highlights Travel have assisted you more?
Everything was pretty great. No complaints :) I guess a list of suggested nightlife activities (clubs, bars, etc.) would have been nice to have just to know where to go once I got back to my hotel after the tour, but that's about it.

In addition, I d like to take the opportunity to tell you what a wonderful time we had along the Silk Road. The education on history and culture, the people we met, the food and accommodation we experienced had all contributed to our memorable trip. So thank you for all your coordination and your effort in arranging for our tour.

I think you would naturally want to have our feedback on our trip. Here it is. In the following, I will attempt to provide evaluation from 4 different perspectives: sightseeing program, tour guide, food, and accommodation.

Sightseeing Program
We enjoyed all the attractions recommended by CITS. Time spent at each location was reasonable and flexible. There was no rush, making the experience very enjoyable. We only visited 4 out of the 6 attractions on our list due to last minute flight changes ...more

Well, Karen, we both feel the organisation and management of China Highlights is excellent. The weeks of email contact and preparation with you before we left were really good-and very reassuring. Your prompt response to our queries was also excellent. It was SO wonderful to have your Tour Guides, with smiling faces, at each and every airport- and also the comfort when they took us right up to the Check In desk on departure, as we were in unknown territory with virtually no knowledge of the written or spoken language.

ALL your Tour Guides were highly intelligent, well educated, very caring, conscientious and flexible. The cars were great, as were all the drivers. Congratulations to them all. The drivers were SO patient and we never felt concerned about our safety in all the traffic and miles that we travelled.

We have to say, though, that Foster from Guilin really topped the list- he was just brilliant, and we felt we had a friend caring for us. We also feel that the Bravo Hotel in ...more
