I have traveled extensively and typically don't enlist a tour guide. However, we are very glad we used your services, as we only had 6 days and wanted to maximize our travels.

Now that you are home again, I hope you enjoyed your trip, and that everything came up to expectations. As you know, we take customer service very seriously at China Highlights, so could we ask you for your final feedback? We appreciate your responses so far, which really help us to look after you better. We'd be very grateful if you could take a few minutes to complete this evaluation form, so that we can continue to improve our service, and understand our customers better. If you prefer, you could just e-mail us your thoughts on your overall experience with us.

1. Overall, did you enjoy your trip? Why?
I did enjoy my trip very much, especially because I was able to see my son in South Korea. The trip to China was very enlightening and exchiting, as well. The flight was wonderful, the hotel exactly as described and very close to all the sites, Beijing was so interesting.
2. Your tour:
a. Were the arrangements satisfactory?
Yes, the flight arrangements were exactly as described, our driver met us at the airport, the hotel was beautiful and in a very convenient location. The mattresses on the beds were a bit hard but, overall, the stay was wonderful.
b.Was it what you expected, and if not, how did it differ from your expectations?
Actually, Beijing was much more cosmopolitan than I expected and the subway system is wonderful and very easy to navigate. The tours were wonderful, very interesting and challenging (at The Great Wall). We were very, very pleased.
c. In hindsight, is there anything you wish you had known in advance?
Ah, the traffic was very difficult to manover and I would definately not recommend driving. I would like to know the dollar amount I could bring into the United States. I would also like to know that the Great Wall is a very steep climb and it will take several hours. I think that would be the only change I would make...taking more time at the Great Wall. I would also suggest a tour of the wonderful night life around the Hutongs. Also, add some interesting highlights of the Olympics, including the ability to purchase items associated with the Olympics.
d. Any unpleasant surprise?
No unpleasant surprises at all from the tour.
e. Were any problems resolved quickly and easily?
We had no problems. We left a hat at a restaurant and they quickly took us back the next day to retrieve.
f. What was the best thing about your tour?
Being able to experience the Chinese culture and see the amazing history. We loved the people and the city. The food was very interesting, especially when we went on our own to out of the way locations and just pointed to things on the menu.
g, Is there anything else that we should have done, before or during your tour?
The tour was exceptional, the accomodations fantastic, the food wonderful, the guide and drive were magnificant!
3. Would you like to visit China again (or if you live here, would you like to do more traveling in China)?

Next time, I want to visit the countryside and smaller locations. I want to visit Tibet and western China in the next year and I will be contacting you for travel arrangements.

Your bookings were clear and precise. Your communication was clear. The drivers and car were on time and took us to all the locations. There was no push to buy something at each location.

5. What is your overall impression of our service? ?Why?
I have traveled extensively and I find your services to be some of the best I have used anywhere in the world. I have given your name to many business associates and friends. Many people are cautious in traveling to a locale wher they do not speak the language or understand the culture but your guide explained everything to us very clearly.
6. Would you recommend us to others who are coming to China?

7. How would you describe your trip to China and the overall experience in a few sentences?
My son and I had a wonderful trip to Beijing. We saw everything we had researched. We were able to experience some of the ambience of the city. I felt very safe in Beijing, unlike other cities around the world. The food was varied and interesting. The markets and subways were very easy to navigate. There were many street vendors but they were also very pleasant. I was not accustomed to the number of people and the difference in 'boundaries' between our cultures. What I mean by 'boundaries' is that, in the United States, we have an unspoken boundary between one person and another of about 60 cm in every direction. It was difficult to become accustomed to people moving very close to one another when they spoke. In our culture, that is considered a threatening move so it took a bit of getting used to.
We also don't eat dogs and we found dog on the menu at many restaurants.
8. Any suggestions on how we could improve our service or the products we offer?
You have a wonderful tour service. Some people only want to see the main sites of a city and stay in the very 'universal' places. My son and I like to visit smaller restaurants, wider locations around the city and see some of the night life so that might be something you could offer.
