Dear Karen,
Everything met our expectations and we had a wonderful time. It was great having a personal guide (Ice was very reliable and helpful). We enjoyed having a full day for both the Longsheng Terraces and for the Lijiang cruise and the raft ride, and not having to rush anything. The illuminated Reed Flute cave and the Fubo Hill Buddha grottoes were unusual and inspiring places. The two extras we bought ¨C the evening folk performance and especially the bamboo raft ride -- added to the fun. The Bravo hotel was very nice and in an excellent location by the lake park, from where it was easy to walk to the night market and restaurants.

1. What was the best thing about your trip?

We spent a great time in China. It was our 5th trip in the country and we enjoy it more and more. Visiting the relics was the best thing.





2. What was the worst thing?

The food at the places you organize for lunch is UNEDIBLE, not even worth stopping at the restaurants. At 90% of those places we left untouched. In Jiayuguan and Dunhuang your guides could barely speak English, just repeating the basic explanations like tape recorders. They were unable to answer the most basic questions. The guide we had on the second day, although very kind and with a great attitude, had never visited the sights we were going to (she told us it was her first day on the job). She was sent to accompany us to the airport to facilitate our boarding process and she had never been to an airport and had no idea what a boarding pass was. The guides were especially helpful and very knowledgeable.They were professional and attentive to your needs. Each took care of us on a personal level and always were helpful. The fact that every thing was planned for us made thins very simple and stress-free. We knew in advance what we would be doing each day. And the itineraries were not rushed so we could take our time at each location.

Cheryl Chen, Sean, Sissy and Leo all did a great job! Thank you for making our vacation memorable and fun!

We all enjoyed very much every place we went but we were very impressed by the Great Wall, the Terra Cota Warriors, the magnificient views through the Yang Tze river and the great cities of Shangai and specially Hong Kong. Let me congratulate your people for the surprise birthday cake we got on Guilin on Sept. 1, 2006 for Pilar′s birthday, it was something that we will never forget.
