Dear Candy,

I would like to let you know that we returned very satisfied and safely home after our 2-week trip in China. Thanks to your excellent planning skills and the support of 3 very nice guides, we had the time of our life in China, really without any mishap or unfortunate occurrences (apart from some rain....).

From the very moment that Tracy picked us up after arrival, we felt very comfortable with the way we were cared for. That first day we were introduced to the Beijing hotel and she helped us with some unscheduled sights (Hutongs, Drum Tower). We very much appreciated the flexibility and expert knowledge of Tracy, and the nice way she could narrate about the background of the sights. On Monday morning she guided us very early to the airport to take the flight to Xi'an. Next we met Grace in Xi'an, who had organised a very informative and instructive program. She also was very knowledgeable and professional, and she told us many details on Chinese history, which we enjoyed very much. She also arranged a nice dinner-show for us in the evening, and was so kind to pick us up afterwards. The bicycle ride on the Xi'an city wall (around 8 am!) was very instructive, and we saw the town from a different perspective. After the long train ride Karie picked us up in Pingyao and she was so attentive to arrange a late supper for us. Pingyao was one of the highlights of the trip, a great and very original hotel in a beautiful small town. It was a pity it was raining almost all day. The next day we included some extra sights in the tour in our way up to Datong. Datong was absolutely not as bad as had been forecasted. We enjoyed the Buddha grottoes. Then back to Beijing where we were happy to meet Tracy again. The next 2 days were full of the highlights of the city, and again Tracy appeared to be very knowledgeable and absolute a very amiable and communicative guide. In the meantime she had booked us a acrobat show, and she has made a great effort that we could make it after a busy day. In the week I had to work at the conference, she accompanied us another day to the Ming tombs, with again great stories on Chinese history. She has helped us a lot to find nice and high quality souvenirs for our beloved ones at home. Without her help we could not have seen half of what we have done now in the little time we had available. I hope it is clear that your guides are a pivotal success factor in the kind of trips we have made: much to see in a short time, and expert help is then needed. Grace was very professional in this respect. With Tracy we have spend the most time and we had the feeling we were shown around by a friend. The language skills of both Tracy and Grace were impressive, given the fact that they never travelled abroad. With such an intense tour, there are always top sights that we could praise without reserve (hence they got a "5"), but some others were less our favourite (but still good, rating at 3 or 4). Of course the guides cannot help, that we have a variation in appreciation. As guides they just did an outstanding job. Please take that in consideration when looking through our evaluation forms.

I wish to thank you such much for organising this trip for us, and we will certainly recommend your company without any reservation to any other person that considers to travel to China. Without all this help, we might have missed half of what we have seen now, or more!
