First, let me say it was an incredible trip for us. China Highlights provided exceptional service in every way. We felt very well taken care of and I am happy to fill out your survey. I will definitely recommend your company to family, friends, and colleagues. I give you a rating of 5+++ :) If we get to come again in a few years, we will look forward to using your company again.


The most memorable attractions: it is so hard to pick just one, it might be a different one for each person in our group but I would have to say The Great Wall and the Panda Reserve. Of the cities, Guilin was the most beautiful and we found we wanted to spend more time in Chengdu and Xian. All 3 shows were fantastic- the minority show in Guilin (my favorite), the Kungfu show in Beijing and the acrobatics in Shanghai (the kids favorite). They were a highlight for us.

We were absolutely delighted with our trip and have already mentioned China Highlights to several of our friends. The service was excellent. The hotels were up to 4 star standards anywhere in the world and all of our internal flights were smooth and on time.


Our guides were wonderful. Each one insured that we had the very best tour of her city imaginable, but each had her own individual way of making us feel like welcome guests. The flexibility of the private tour gave us a chance to see some spectacular sights with expert guides and to spend time visiting with our son at Tsinghua University touring the Tsinghua campus and attending his graduation ceremony.


We also took a trip on our own to the Beijing Zoo, as you suggested, and saw the pandas. I can't decide on a favorite among all the amazing sights, the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, the Terra Cotta Warriors, etc. We saw so many wonderful things, but we saw them at our own ...more

Our trip was great in every respect - your guides were excellent, especially Sissi in Guilin, Leo in Suzhuo and the boy in Chongqing who's name I forget were absolutely great.

My suggestions to potential travelers


  1. Make sure that you have enough time in Guilin to see the scenic attractions here and do the evening Cormorant Fishermen trip.

    Everyone says the Li River trip is a must and it is true - do it!

  2. Take a cycle ride in Yangshuo.

  3. See the Impression.Sanjie Liu show in Yangshuo

  4. Don't miss the hot pot dinner in Chongqing

  5. Don't miss the canal cruise in Suzhou.

  6. Take the West Lake cruise in Hangzhou

She was amazing and I have recommended her name to other friends that are thinking of traveling to China through China Highlights. We were so impressed. The service was second to none! I have never been catered too more professionally. Our trip was better than expected to be honest. Each morning we were picked up in the lobby to experience an entire day of true vacationing. Our driver and guide made this trip as special as it was! They were great!
