The guide assigned to me in Shanghai, Vivaldi, was outstanding. His knowledge of the history of China was great. His enthusiasm added to his guidance. I was interested in a particular site in Shanghai. I am Anglican Christian. The former Anglican Cathedral in Shanghai is presently being used as headquarters for the Three Persons Movement (general Protestant Church in China). I had read in our Church publications that it was being renovated by the government. I was interested in seeing it. Overnight Vivaldi looked up its location and made time to get me there and to see the exterior of the buildings. He is to be commended.

We have had the holiday which you arranged for us and I want to thank you for all the effort. I have filled in the forms for evaluation but separately I would like to express the opinion of my wife and myself:

We have never had such a nice holiday. All people involved have been very professional and very flexible to accomodate what we wanted. We enjoyed the various excursions and evening shows very much and we enjoyed China in particular. I have passed on your e-mail address to some colleagues and friends and we certainly will come back.

Thank you very much and please pass on my thanks - again - to our tour guides and drivers. I hope that they have enjoyed our company as much as we have enjoyed their company.

Leon. We want to thank you for excellent arrangements for Bejing Trip. The guide and driver were superior. The Hotel was very fine. Also thanks for including third couple. They enjoyed as well. We will recomend you to others. We saved a lot on money over booking with the cruise ship with much better arrangements. Thank you again. The Great Wall looks the same as our last visit 14 years ago.

Firstly a big thank you for your help organising the two-day trips we took. I found your service speedy and responsive, very professional and efficient and would certainly recommend it.

Secondly, I have answered your specific questions below:

The best thing: I was travelling independently which I enjoyed even if it was a little challenging at times.

Suggestions to other travelers: I used the overnight trains between Shanghai and Beijing, and Beijing and Xian. I thought the train travel was excellent although the stations did not live up to the standards of the trains. We travelled in private sleepers and the train staff were very helpful and professional and the restaurant car was excellent.
