Hello, Grace!

Thank you for sending me the China Highlights posts from time to time! I have enjoyed reading about the tea culture this morning. I highly treasure the "Emporer's Tea" I brought back home with me from Hangzhou.

Here is a set of pictures that brought smiles to my face this morning, and I thought you might enjoy them also. Americans are very fond of "animal" pictures, particularly unusual ones.I hope they come through for you okay! ! !

Recently I have begun sorting through all my little "notes," my written record of last summer's trip to China and several other places.I have typed eight pages, and I am still writing about our first day in Beijing! ! Somewhere in here I will take the time to write another letter about my dear personal tour guide in Hangzhou, Snow.She was simply wonderful in every way. My driver (whose name I cannot recall here at work) was also completely professional, and a HUGE help to me in every way.The more I think about them and my time in Hangzhou, the more I know how incredibly lucky I was! And of course, I have you, Grace, to thank for that!
