Hi Karen,

Thanks for the lovely picture and Jay and I will treasure it as it will bring back alot of fine memories of Guilin and you. Probably Lily had told you that I had a bad toothache during the last 2 days in Guilin. I started to take antibiotic and pain pill before heading back to HK. To make a long story short,I saw my dentist the day when I arrived in New York,and had a root canal done. I feel OK now.

Comments: Yes,we learnt that it was unusually cold and damp in Guilin but we still enjoyed the sightseeings there. Sorry that we did not have the chance to see the terraced rice fields.

Tour Guides and Driver: Lily was very knowledgeable and helpful and Mr. Mao was very kind and a good driver. We really appreciated their thoughtfulness and friendliness.I hope Lily could get back home to spend the New Year with her family inspite of the snow.Please give our best regards to them.
