Finding a China Holiday

 

Dear Ms. Chen,


I'm back in the USA having thoroughly enjoyed my stay in China. What a wonderful country you have!


Hotels and Meals: The hotels were wonderful, the people very nice (even though they laughed at me trying to eat with chop sticks---it was pretty funny), and the food was fabulous.


Tour Guides and Driver:  I would particularly like to commend two of the crews we met with: In Shanghai, Lemon and Mr. Chen were wonderful. Lemon gave us lots of information about Chinese culture, Shanghai customs, local food in Shanghai and Zhoujiajiao; they even took us to a grocery store to let us have a look around and pick up some necessary items. Mr. Chen braved the two hour drive through hectic traffic from the airport to the hotel (the flight was only one and a half hours) without a complaint or frustration. They both did a magnificent job of making our stay in Shanghai very pleasant and are to be congratulated on their professionalism and excellent attitudes. If I ever get to return to Shanghai, I'll be sure to request this great team, and to recommend them to anyone else I might know who will be travelling to Shanghai.


In Guilin, Ann and Mr. Wen were also wonderful to be with. Friendly, punctual, and very professional, they both made us feel like we had a friend in Guilin. Ann kindly arranged for us to go on a hot air balloon ride in Yangshuo which was a highlight for me. The landscape in that area is spectacular and after the Li river cruise, the hot air balloon was a treat. Mr. Wen even emailed photos that he took to me.


They were both very accomodating and helpful. This is another team that I would be sure to request or recommend to others. Unfortunately, it is not often that I can afford such an amazing trip. I wish I could return, because there are many other places in China that I would like to see, and, in particular, I would like to spend more time in Guilin. As is it, I have many fond memories of my trip and feel like I have made friends, especially with Lemon and Ann. Thank you, too, for all your help in arranging this trip for us. It was exceptional!!!
