Thank you for the tour. Zhangjiajie - Well worth the visit. The countryside was gorgeous. The tour up the mountain on the first day was spectacular.As you probably remember I travelled with Ian, who is older, and he thought that the tour to the National Park on the second day was too much walking. I don't agree with that, and think that if your client is fit, then the walk is great. The scenery was absolutely stunning. We also did a cultural evening performance the first night - excellent! But I forget what it was called, but it is well advertised. This area, I remember, wasn't really ready for westerners either, so again, the tour guide is necessary.
Recommend - Hengshen Mountain and the Hanging Monastery - Although a long drive, this was the highlight of my trip. The monastery in the side of the mountain was fascinating.
