Alexander's Feedback on 18-Day China Tour

Hi Eva: Just wanted to confirm that we have received our air tickets from Beijing and China. Everything seems to be in order. Thank you. In addition, I d like to take the opportunity to tell you what a wonderful time we had along the Silk Road. The education on history and culture, the people we met, the food and accommodation we experienced had all contributed to our memorable trip. So thank you for all your coordination and your effort in arranging for our tour. I think you would naturally want to have our feedback on our trip. Here it is. In the following, I will attempt to provide evaluation from 4 different perspectives: sightseeing program, tour guide, food, and accommodation. Xian Sightseeing Program We enjoyed all the attractions recommended by CITS. Time spent at each location was reasonable and flexible. There was no rush, making the experience very enjoyable. We only visited 4 out of the 6 attractions on our list due to last minute flight changes by the airline. Tour Guide Louis was honest about the time limitation and recommended 4 places for us to visit. We agreed that it would be more reasonable than trying to visit all 6 places in the same day. Our tour guide Louis was flexible to our needs and always checked to make sure we were happy with our program changes. He took great length in explaining the culture and history. He was very knowledgeable. He was always on time and always had our interest in mind. His attitude was excellent. We received excellent services from him and the driver. It was worth mentioning that the driver took great care in driving. We felt very safe. FoodBreakfast at the hotel was very good. The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of food. We also enjoyed the lunch different styles of Chinese dumplings. Accommodation Accommodation was excellent. Lanzhou Sightseeing Lanzhou offered some surprisingly interesting cites for sightseeing. We enjoyed the program very much, especially Binglingsi Grotto we never knew that it would so beautiful. It was truly a must to see. Guide Our guide Can was energetic and friendly. Here again we had excellent services. He displayed a desire to please, was flexible and attentive to our needs. He was always on time and was very protective toward us as well, as we were being stared at several times by curious passers-by who inquired why 2 Chinese-looking tourists would require English-speaking guides.
