The tour itinerary was terrific. We saw so many amazing things that we will all remember for the rest of our lives! We were travelling with adults and young children and the itinerary provided interesting tours and activities that appealed to all ages.We may have packed too many items into the itinerary and tired ourselves out by the end of the trip.If I had one improvement, I might have scheduled one or two down days without little or no touring, but on the other hand, I don’t know what I could recommend to drop from the itinerary—I would not have wanted to miss what we saw.Of course, The Great Wall was the most memorable attraction. All of the guides are great, especially Bernie, he was terrific .He allowed us to be flexible in our experiences and he was helpful in making recommendations. He was also very personable. He encouraged us to try different foods and other things. His English was excellent. And all the drivers are great. The meals were perfect and one of the favorite things we experienced on our trip.We already miss the food. We enjoyed the food a great deal. Every meal gave us a “Wow!”We also enjoyed getting to know the guides and hearing their honest thoughts about places and experiences in the cities we visited.
At the same time, I felt your representatives were reliable and your service met our expectations.CH cost a bit more than some other companies form which we got quotes, but we feel the value of CH was worth the bit higher pricing, we will recommend you to our friends.
We also like to give some suggestions to other tourists: Wear good walking shoes, bring mosquito repellant.Don’t miss the wall in Beijing or the terracotta warriors in Xian.Do some side trips that are more geared for Chinese people on holiday than for western tourists, such as floating on a bamboo raft on the river near Hangzhou. There is adventure in getting off the beaten path. Don’t be afraid to bring your kids.Ours loved it and tolerated the stresses of travel better than we did!The kids also saw things differently than we did and opened our eyes to many things we might have missed. Enjoy the negotiating and don’t worry too much if you pay too much for small souvenirs.Have fun with it!
