Please see below for my answers.
Thanks for the tour help. It was fantastic. Had the time of my life. Be back in the fall.
1.What was/were the most memorable attraction(s) on the itinerary?
1 was the Mutianyu Great Wall-Cable car up, the Wall itself, the Slide down.2 was Summer Palace-beautiful in the Spring
1.What impressed you most during your free time and why? (e.g. a morning walk or a night market)
The Acrobatics Show-with yours and our guides help, it made the show very enjoyable and non-stressful.
1.Did you try any of the restaurants, shows or markets listed on the Confirmation Letter? How were they?
Yes we tried every restaurant-Mary enjoyed all of them but it was difficult for me and my strict diet. Leo our guide had a very hard time understanding my diet (diabetic) and what I was needing to eat.
1.Did our guide give you any further information or recommendations? If you made use of this, what effect did it have on your experience?
We went to the Pearl and Silk public markets because we had finished early and our guide said we had time. They were interesting and fun.
1.Was there anything on you tour (big or small) that made you go “WOW!”?
Really the whole 4 days of the tour was a WOW. Leo our guide was definitely a WOW. It was a fantastic adventure. Your help in securing a second hotel when the first did not work for us was much appreciated. Also a WOW in that our guides' (Leo) timing that allowed us to see both the Aquarium show and the Drum Tower show without having to wait around waiting (losing tour time) or not seeing them at all. Missing them would have been a disappointment.
1.Was Beijing the same as what you imagined before visiting? What were the biggest differences between Beijing and your nearest city?
Not really.I did not think we would be comfortable but we were and felt safe at all times but the language barrier was difficult at times. Thank goodness for our guide. Biggest difference is the size of the city and the number of people. We come from a very small city in comparison of only about 60,000 people.
