Robert's Feedback on 11-Day China Tour

The following review may sound like an advertisement for China Highlights travel company.  I have just returned from the most enjoyable 14 day tour of China that was put together by a travel company I found on the internet. Although somewhat apprehensive from the moment I contacted them, till the time I got my airline tickets in Hong Kong for the start of my tour, it has been a totally positive experience.

Ryan Chen was my internet contact who accommodated me at every opportunity.  The group included 4 people and we got everything that was promised. We landed in Chongqing to be greeted by our first of 4 private driver and tour guides. All the tour guides were knowledgeable and had an excellent command of the english language.  We took the Victoria Cruise ship  Katarina up the Yangtze River.  Our room was clean and very comfortable and the crew fantastic. We ended our 3 day cruise after going through the 3 Gorges in Yichang, where we spent the day before flying to Xian.  I would have liked to have spent more time there (now that I have been there).  Our 5 star accommodations at the Sofitel hotel and 6 star Tour Guide, Yang Wen (IVY) made us feel so comfortable. Plus we only scratched the surface of this beautiful city.  The Terra Cotta Warriors are a must see if you are visiting China for the first time.  Our final stop was Beijing....Be prepared for spending time in the car and long walks.Our driver Ricky knew how to get us around.  The Great Wall of China was certainly the highlight of our visit. .
