Hello Simon

Just a brief email to say thank you to you and the tour guides and drivers of China Highlights for providing us with such an interesting and informative trip to your country recently.

We scored all the guides as a 5 as we were very impressed with their English language skills, level of professionalism and knowledge about their local area and willingness to be flexible with our tour itinerary. We are happy for all of our guides to receive a 5 for their overall final scores.

We didn't have any real complaints with the tour or itinerary but here are a couple of little suggestions/observations we made along the way which might help with future tours:

1. The worst meal we had on the tour was the lunch onboard the boat during the Li River Cruise. It was cold and not very nice at all.

2. The other bad meal we had was at the cabaret/music and dance performance at the Tang Dynasty show. We had expected lovely dumplings but they were quite bland and tasted as if they had been mass produced just to cater for the large audience. I would not recommend either of these meals to other tourists. They were definitely well below the standard of the rest of our meals in China.

3. We really enjoyed our brief ride on the fast train from Suzhou to Shanghai. I think most tourists would enjoy having a ride on a fast train as part of the itinerary of their trip and should have the option/opportunity to experience this form of transport at some time during their tour.

4. If possible, flights out of cities to other cities should be scheduled for no later than 4 o'clock if it is a two hour flight. We had a couple of occasions where the flight did not leave until after 6 or 7pm and by the time we had checked into our new hotel, it was after 11, making it a pretty long and tiring day, not to mention making us tired for the next day's activities.

Apart from these observations, we were really pleased with the level of service offered by China Highlights.

Thank you once again for a great tour!

Regards
