Penny is a great guide. She is very enjoyable and has good command of English. We enjoyed her company and loved her restaurant and food choices for lunch. Our 1 day stop was short but perfectly organized and well managed. The new bullet train was a real surprise and a great way to travel to Luoyang: fast, clean, confortable and we enjoyed the beautiful spring landscape with blooming fruit trees!

Hi Dennis,

Back home from our trip in China and wanted to let you know that all went well. We did visit Shanghai on our own which is now a modern city easy to navigate. I did it with 2 children aged 10 and 13 with no problem. Subway is very practical and gets you to all main attractions. We loved the Panda bears at the great Shanghai zoo! Great cosmopolitan city!

Our “one day stop” in Xi’an was perfect. Penny is a great guide. She is very enjoyable and has good command of English. We enjoyed her company  and loved her restaurant and food choices for lunch. Finished our trip solo in Beijing. Wish I’d used China Highlights to book my day trip to the Great Wall and the Ming Tombs. Our local guide/driver were terrible, always trying to cut out planned activities to save money or ask for extra money when everything was suppose to be included.

So, although, it was a last minute trip, all went well and I’ll definitely think of you next time we plan a visit to China
