Dear Michael,
We have now arrived back in Cape Town after enjoying a fantastic trip through China.
We want to really compliment you on arranging such an enjoyable and interesting tour. The arrangements were faultless and the quality of the guides, were excellent. Having said that, we must single out Gerry An in Beijing and Sara Shen in Shanghai, for a special mention.
They were both superb, having a good command of English, a wide knowledge of China and its history and the ability to make one feel at ease in, what to us, were very foreign surroundings. Sara, particularly, had an empathy that made her stand out above the others. We can only commend these two young people to you and are sure that they both have a bright future in their chosen profession.
Thank you once again.
Sincerely
Cyril and Deanna
Hi Michael,
Here are some comments which I hope will be of use to you.
The Yangtze cruise was satisfactory, although I would advise to book the suites, rather than the cabins. The food is served in a small dining room and is better than the food served in the main dining room. Service was good and the staff were most obliging.
We would certainly recommend your company to friends or colleagues. We had a wonderful trip. We would suggest that instead of such intense sightseeing we would have liked to have spent an extra day in Beijing and Xian, to allow us to explore these cities at leisure, with no fixed itinerary on that extra day. In Shanghai, at the guide's suggestion, we saw the acrobatic show, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
We are both over 65, but very active. I would still recommend that people in our age group do a leisurely tour, if possible, as there is so much to absorb and enjoy.
Kind regards
Cyril
